CSR initiatives undertaken during FY24-25
BHOOMIKA
- SBI Pension Funds has donated a Mobile van to BHOOMIKA, an NGO that is spread across 16 districts in Odisha to minimize needless blindness in the state. The CSR project emphasized extending the eye care services to the marginalized community, especially the tribal people.
- The mobile van is fully equipped with minimal eye screening equipments to reach the far-off places where there is a complete absence of eye care services.
- The CSR contribution will reach and provide free doorstep eye screening facilities, need based advice on cataract & other surgeries to be performed at the base hospital run by the NGO, on a regular basis, which shall benefit the mmarginalised community, especially the tribal segment, people residing in villages/ rural areas.
TB MUKT GUJARAT
- SBI Pension Funds has donated 2 MMU Force Traveler, a Genexpert IV 10C RTPCR and also a Portable X-ray medical equipment to NGO- RK HIV AIDS Research & Care Centre.
- The CSR contribution benefits in screening, testing and treatment of TB patients in Ahmedabad and Panchamahal districts of Gujarat.
- The contribution has ensured the early case detection of TB and thereby containing spread, improving accessibility to TB medicines and nutritional support among TB patients and providing quality services, minimizing out-of pocket expenditure of the community members and an increased awareness on TB and addressing myths and stigma associated with the disease.
CSR initiatives undertaken during FY23-24
Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute
- SBI Pension Funds, through its CSR initiative, has supported Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Research Institute managed by Shri Chaitanya Health and Care Trust.
- SBI Pension Funds has donated a fibre laser for urology treatment at Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Research Institute.
- The laser facilitates endoscopic procedures like laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP), urethrotomy, bladder tumor resection, ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
- This contribution enhances healthcare services and aids in the effective treatment of various urological conditions.
Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust
- SBI Pension Funds' CSR initiative, "Empowerment Journey: Enabling Independence," in collaboration with Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust, focuses on supporting physically disabled individuals in Maharashtra.
- The initiative involves identifying, screening, manufacturing, and distributing 631 prosthetic aids (481 feet, calipers, prosthetic hands, and 150 crutches) to approximately 590 beneficiaries.
- The project aims to grant free prosthetic limbs to those identified and empower them through skill training, fostering financial independence.

Rotary Club of Banjara Hills Charitable Trust
- SBI Pension Funds, through its CSR initiative, has supported the Rotary Club of Banjara Hills Charitable Trust for Sparsh Hospice.
- SBI Pension Funds' contribution aimed to provide outstanding palliative care services at no cost directly to the homes of terminally ill patients from diverse backgrounds.
- The Sparsh Home Care Team provided comprehensive care, including emotional, physical, medical, spiritual, and social support, to individuals facing terminal illnesses right at their doorstep.
- A total of 1,066 unique beneficiaries were extended palliative care in the comfort of their home.
